Julie Kientz Elting, EdD, MSN, APRN

Dr. Julie Elting has been an RN for 40 years and licensed as an APRN in Hawaii since 2008. She is a Community Clinical Nurse Specialist whose holistic approach to health promotion and management encourages clients to make choices that are right for them. Areas of specialty include physiological adaptation to stress, medication management, and client empowerment/advocacy. She supports alternative and complementary care as part of her holistic practice. Dr. Elting is an associate professor of nursing and has been an NLN Certified Nurse Educator since 2010.

We are accepting adults (18+) for our wait list. Because, to our knowledge, we offer the only standard model DBT program in Hawaii (including all four elements listed above) the demand for our services is high and the wait for an opening can vary greatly. We encourage interested individuals to add their names to the list, but apologize for our inability to accept new clients as quickly as would be desirable.
