There is help for people with Borderline Personality and similar disorders

Dialectical Behavior Therapy may be the answer for you.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

DBT is a form of psychotherapy widely believed to be a treatment for borderline personality disorder, which is partially true.  More broadly, DBT is designed to help people with multiple severe diagnoses that involve poorly controlled and intense emotions. Research suggests DBT may be helpful for many problemsincluding eating disorders, substance use disorders, domestic violence, ADHD, depression and anxiety disorders, and trauma based disorders – particularly PTSD and complex-PTSD.  Research suggests DBT is even a helpful adjunctive treatment for bipolar disorder and severe mental illness.  If your particular problems fit within this set of disorders to one degree or another DBT may be the answer for you.  Contact us to see if we might be of help.

We encourage interested individuals to add their names to the list, but apologize for our inability to accept new clients as quickly as would be desirable.
